Backyard weddings just hit differently. There is something so special about being outside with all of your closest people there to cheer and celebrate you on your big day. Jarret and Kelcie got married in Las Vegas in their friend’s backyard.
They started the day by getting ready at separate locations. Jarret got ready with his groomsmen at his apartment and they had a great time getting ready and chatting prior to the wedding. Kelcie got ready with her bridesmaids at her parent’s house listening to Taylor Swift in the background.
After everyone was ready, we headed over to the ceremony location where Jarret and Kelcie did a private first look prior to the ceremony. They were under a beautiful white gazebo and where Jarret got his first look at Kelcie in her wedding dress. It was seriously such a beautiful moment where the two were able to embrace and really take everything in together before they got married.
It was one of my favorite moments of the day because they completely forgot that they were being photographed and really just embraced the time they got to be together on such an important day. That is where the real love is documented. In the small moments where you can forget about all of the minute details of the day and enjoy being with your lover.

Jarret had the sweetest reaction to seeing Kelcie for the first time on their wedding day. The most tender moment. At their ceremony, Kelcie’s dad officiated. They read their sweet handwritten vows to each other and personalized them to fit their relationship. After the ceremony, we did family and bridal party photos. Then Jarret and Kelcie had their grand entrance which led to dinner, speeches, and dancing.

After the ceremony, we headed over to a community garden in Las Vegas. It had beautiful greenery and provided such a fun, beautiful backdrop for bridal party photos as well as bridal portraits of just Jarret and Kelcie. I love when couples plan out time on their wedding day to just be with each other and take photos. It really is such a special time. On your wedding day, you often are going from activity to activity, so I really like to take that time to slow things down and let the couple focus on each other. Plus, who doesn’t want photos with your new spouse on your wedding day?
Their friends and family also gave the most beautiful speeches that really celebrated them and the sweet couple and this new adventure they are embarking on together. It is always such a pleasure to hear all of the wonderful things people say about the couples I work with.
These two really crafted the most beautiful wedding day that celebrated them being together and united. This Las Vegas fall backyard wedding really was a piece of art in many ways and what made it so special was the celebration of Jarret and Kelcie. Cheers to these two!
